Limits

Currently, the following limits apply when using this service:

• the amount of ACME managed certificates allowed per account is set to 50.
• for manually managed certificates there is no limit.
• there is only one certificate allowed at a time for each subject name/subject alternative name

Restrictions

Certificates can only be issued for non-public domains.
If you need certificates for public domains, use a public CA, e.g. Let’s Encrypt.

For determining whether a domain is public or not labcerts.net performs a DNS lookup of the requested common name and subject alternative names.
